Ronak Gawarwala, Senior Associate,HOK
Ronak has over 14 years of architectural experience in the UK and abroad, working on ambitious and challenging projects with leading international design firms. Ronak also specializes in sustainable environmental design and currently has a dual role leading the Sustainable Design initiatives in HOK’s London office.
Ronak is passionate about finding innovative ways of solving design problems and integrating environmental design solutions. His approach focuses on using design as a way of achieving optimum occupant comfort, health and wellbeing while maximising energy reduction from very early on in the design process leading to time and cost savings later in the project. Ronak believes the key to a great design is understanding and responding to the unique and complex social, economic and environmental context of every project. His experience varies across disciplines and locations, cultivating strong relations with clients, consultants and institutions.
Ronak earned his master’s degree in Sustainable Environmental Design from Architectural Association, School of Architecture, London. He has also lived and worked in Africa and Middle East
