Nanco Dolman

Nanco specialises in urban water resilience at engineering and project management consultancy Royal HaskoningDHV. With degrees in both civil engineering and Landscape design, Nanco is one of the leading experts in water sensitive urban design (WSUD) approaches, specialising in the development of water resilient designs.

He is a lecturer in Urban Water Management at Rotterdam University and has been involved major international initiatives including the Bangkok Adaptive City 2045, the Rotterdam Adaptation Strategy, the Greater New Orleans Urban Water Plan, the Urban Water Strategy for Hoboken, New Jersey (after Hurricane Sandy). He advises many major national infrastructure providers, including his role as the Strategic Water Management Advisor to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol for over 15 years
