Friederike has been a project manager for smart cities at Bosch Software Innovations since November 2014. For her, the first step is to understand a city’s needs and goals. Focusing on projects in the UK and in Germany, she supports and fosters the development of smart cities with the help of the Bosch portfolio. What fascinates her most is the concentrated energy in cities and the massive potential that they have to make a real difference with regards to sustainability and quality of life.
Previously, Friederike investigated the formation of sustainability strategies in cooperation with the central department for environmental protection at Robert Bosch GmbH for which she received her PhD from Kassel University, Germany. She has a BA in international economics from University of Bamberg, Germany, and an MSc in environmental politics and economics from the London School of Economics, UK.
